Budding film makers and North Loburn school students Ranger Leary, Campbell Richardson, Tom hassall and Izzy Ashurst won The Outlook for Someday 2017 Film Awards! They won the Sustainable Future Award for their film about Plastic Straw Free Rangiora. Rangiora teachers leading the way

Rangiora and other North Canterbury teacher’s recently came together to form a community of learning. According to Stuff: Fernside School principal David Taylor, the lead principal in the Puketeraki Kahui Ako, said the day was a huge success and it was the first time on record that staff from the primary and secondary sectors have come together in Rangiora to learn from, and with, each other.
