9 months ago by Rangiora.co.nz The Old School Collective had its grand opening on Saturday, March the 23rd. Mayor David Ayers spoke along with the co-founder of the collective Lisa Willets before the ribbon was cut. A Karakia(prayer) and a moment of silence was also held for the victims of the Christchurch attack. The collective has taken up occupancy of the old Waikuku School which was sitting derelict. Now the school rooms have new life breathed into then. They're home to several businesses including a cafe, an antiques store, a gift store, a yoga studio and a health consultancy service.
